By accessing or using Pop3Fetch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
Pop3Fetch is an email importing service that connects to your external email accounts via IMAP or POP3 and automatically delivers new emails into your Gmail inbox using the official Gmail API. The Service runs continuously in the background on your behalf. Users choose between Standard access (gmail.modify) and Limited access (gmail.insert) at sign-in.
Pop3Fetch currently supports any mailbox reachable via password-authenticated IMAP or POP3. We do not currently support OAuth-only mailboxes — most notably Microsoft 365 mailboxes (including most Outlook.com, Hotmail, and GoDaddy-via-M365 accounts), for which Microsoft retired Basic Authentication for IMAP in 2023. If your provider only allows OAuth and we don't yet support that provider, the Service will not be able to connect to your mailbox.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Pop3Fetch you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
To use Pop3Fetch you must sign in with a Google account and provide valid external email credentials. You are responsible for:

Pop3Fetch offers a free tier and two paid subscription plans:
Payment for paid plans is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew each month or year (depending on the billing interval you chose). You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again after cancellation, and no partial refunds are provided for unused time. Refund requests for exceptional circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion; contact us via our contact page.
Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. Your card will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel your subscription at any time during the 7-day trial period, you will not be charged. The Free tier has no trial — it is free indefinitely under these Terms.
Plan changes. You may change your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades (Free→Basic, Basic→Pro, Free→Pro) take effect immediately, with prorated charges for the remainder of your current billing period where applicable. Downgrades within paid plans (Pro→Basic) are scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to your current plan's features until that date. Direct downgrades from a paid plan to Free are not supported in-product; to move to Free, cancel your paid subscription and re-activate as a Free user after your paid period ends. Add-on packs can be added at any time; removals also take effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice. If you do not agree to a price change you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
Pop3Fetch uses the Gmail API to deliver imported emails into your inbox. At sign-in you choose between Standard access (gmail.modify, which enables Gmail's spam filter and conversation threading) and Limited access (gmail.insert, write-only). Regardless of which you pick, Pop3Fetch never reads, modifies, or deletes your existing Gmail messages. We use the permissions you grant exclusively to deliver your imported emails and to apply per-account Gmail labels (Pro plan).
You can revoke this authorization at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Your use of Google services through Pop3Fetch is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Pop3Fetch is not affiliated with Google LLC.
We aim to provide reliable, continuous email fetching but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
Email fetching operates on a scheduled interval based on your plan — Free checks every hour, Basic checks every 5 minutes, Pro every 60 seconds. There may be delays between an email arriving at your external account and it appearing in your Gmail inbox.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not read, analyze, store, or share the content of your emails. Your email credentials are encrypted at rest. Your Gmail OAuth token grants either Standard (gmail.modify) or Limited (gmail.insert) access depending on your choice at sign-in — in both cases, we never read your existing Gmail messages.
The Service and all associated software, design, trademarks, and content are the property of Pop3Fetch and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
Your email content and account data remain yours. These Terms do not grant Pop3Fetch any ownership rights over the emails you import or the account metadata associated with your use of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pop3Fetch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. For Free tier users who have paid nothing, our total liability shall not exceed $50 USD.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pop3Fetch and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third party's rights, including the terms of service of your external email provider, or (d) the content of emails you import through the Service.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, without notice or liability.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your account data is deleted from our active database immediately upon your delete request. Backup snapshots and operational logs containing your account email may persist for the retention windows described in our Privacy Policy Section 7, after which they are deleted automatically.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days notice of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
